Enjoy the long weekend!

Don't fret too much about your grades. To me, as long as you've tried your best, it's good enough for me. Those of you who did your best and reaped rewards, congratulations. Those who tried your best and didn't quite get what you wanted, don't give up. I could see that many of you worked hard for the SA2. The fact that you were so eager to get your papers back showed that you really cared about your exams.

The Math paper was tough no doubt, but pick yourself up, dust yourself off, and prepare yourself for the journey ahead. It will be a long one - filled with failures and successes. The best will learn from the failures, and celebrate the successes. The worst just give up and cry.

Get your EL paper signed. Checking on Tuesday.

Class party tentatively set for next Thursday. Will keep you guys informed.

Read up on leatherback turtles! Might be looking at them tomorrow if we have the time.

Math practice paper tomorrow.

You have mother tongue lessons after recess tomorrow so do remember to bring your MT books.

Class party this Thursday from 0800-???! Bring a small bag with a storybook. Won't be having lessons apart from Connecto and resolving some admin issues. Of course, bring food. :-) Children's Day Celebrations will start at 1100 in the hall.

Revise addition and subtraction of fractions. Class test tomorrow.

Bring Yakult, Vitagen, and plastic bottles if you have any to donate. They have to be clean and dry. Each bottle is worth 2 points for each group. Heh heh...

Individual Writing (due on TUESDAY): Write a similar story to your group writing involving a character who cheats/sabotages or does something bad, and comes to his/her senses at the end of the story.
